Will DVD Burning Software Like This Be Available Soon?

Right now, when I want to burn a music cd I just pop the music cd to be copied in my cd rom and then put the blank cd in my cd burner. I then open up Easy Cd Creator and make an exact copy and it's done. If I want to make a music cd off of Kazaa I just drag and drop the files that I downloaded and then hit Create Cd and bang it's done. Will DVD burning ever become like this? I don't want to have to change formats from MPEG to VCD and then use stuff like Encoders. That's all such a hassle. There's got to be an easier way coming. Does anybody know of software like this available now?

I doubt it'll ever become that easy. Easier, yes, but it'll never be a no-brainer.

hmm, what is your reasoning behind that?

There really is no reason why it can't be put into one program such as nero...

Enconding and all...

That time will come once DVD burners are as popular as Cd burners.

It seems to me when cd burners first came out a lot of them had to have files converted to certain formats before you could burn them on a cd. Who wants to go through all the trouble of converting MPEG's to VCD before you can put them on a dvd disc. I want to be able to download a MPEG video from Kazaa and then drag and drop the files with something like Easy Cd Creator and then let the software take care of all the converting that needs to be done so that when the dvd is done burning you can pop it in your television and watch it.
