I am two cheep two buy another 256MB DDR module, I am a student on a budget, but I am upgrading to 8RDA+ and I want to use this feature but do I have to have two sticks of equal size to use Dual channel mode?

Thanks

They even have to be of equal build ... e.g. you cannot combine single- and double-sided 256-MByte DIMMs.

You got that right, its just not worth it to spend the extra money the performance ration isn't that high. I would rather just put my money into a new video card, looks like its going to be the ati 9500, or ti4600 if it goes on sale.
