I want to image a copy of my C drive to a Raid 1 array for backup purposes. I was told this will not work. Can anyone confirm/refute? TIA

The previous version worked for me. I think it was DI 5 and with onboard raid controller.

The previous version was DI 2002. I got DI 7 from P/Q, and it came with a copy of 2002 as well plus a tutorial video CD. I installed it and it screwed up my whole system because it requires .NET Framework 1.1 to be installed first. .NET Framework completly messed up my autologon in XP Pro and put me back in the password insertion mode. It also messed up my NTFS spacing. So, I removed it and .NET and got my system back. I sent the whole package to a friend and went back to DI 2002 and DC 4.

Glad to know that I am not the only one having problems with this god-forsaken software. I have never had any problems with DI 2002 and now they ship this crap requiring .NET. And what's with this v2i sh!t. I can't even image browse my own rescue disks? WTF. I am ready to send it back to PQ and get my cash back if I can.

It doesn't matter which you use, with either one you need DOS drivers for your controller.
