If anything, they will make more movies between III and IV. There will be a new movie every year until long long ago becomes present.

Here's my take. Disney will leave them as is. Why? Because the worse they look, the better Disney looks, with the new movies. Even if they flubbed one, it would still look better than episodes 1 or 2!!
