Will continuous DC kill an IBM-t60?

I have a super old ibm t60 from a co-worker that was thought to be 'broken' but actually just had a corrupted windows xp installation and a 99.5% full hard drive.

It really doesn't have a job, or an owner per say, and it only has 1 GB of RAM, a C2Duo T7200, and a battery that doesn't hold a charge.

I was thinking about running some DC on it, if I throw BOINC on it and tell it to use up to 50% of the cpu power for seti@home (I'm worried 100% will be a lot for its old, adorable little fans) and forget about it, will that drive it prematurely into the grave?)

It shouldn't kill it, but it won't be very useful from a PPD/watt standpoint.

Yeah, I know, I might bring my kill-a-watt by for funsies to see how bad it is.
