Will Changing E-Mail Address In Profile Reset Post Counter To Zero?

I recently changed ISP's so the e-mail address in my profile isn't accurate. I'd like to update that but I don't want to be set back to zero. As I recall, that happened to me 13 months ago when I was faced with a similar scenario. Does anyone know how it works these days?

No, I think as long as you use the same username your post count stays.
