It'll be interesting to see.

<< Gingrich, who has his own consulting firm and Web site, newt.org, predicts either man will include people from the other party in his Cabinet. "I cannot imagine in this kind of a setting either of them trying to govern in a narrowly partisan way." >>

There's no reason for him to think about party ties when choosing people for his cabinet. If he's smart, he'll choose capable people regardless of party affiliation.

Not a chance. If your a powerful person, you want the people closet to you to be your biggest fans - people who agree with you and people you can trust.

But he will surround himself with very good people, and delegate, instead of trying to run everything himself like Gore.

He should include people from the Republican and Democratic party. I would not want someone with no opinion on anything even if he/she was related to me.

Speaking as a republican....

IF Bush wins....
It would be in the countries best interest to appoint the most qualified individuals to his cabinet. It would be considered a large gesture if some of those individuals happened to be from the democratic party. No matter who wins, they will have to make such a gesture in order to win over the people and get anything done in the first two years.

IF Gore wins....
See above, reverse.

Didn't say that is what they would do it.... just saying that I think it would help their cause tremendously.
