I'm assuming the UFC fans might be the slightest bit interested so humor me.
The Undertaker defends the streak against the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar this Sunday at WM XXX.

For anyone interested here are the relevant videos building the feud.

I've got low expectations for this match. The Undertaker just turned 49 and IMO is in no shape be facing a monster like Brock. I'm expecting it to be similar to Brock's 1st match back where he dominates most of it, but Taker somehow gets the victory to preserve the streak.

I was watching an old match with Superfly Jimmy Snuka.
I forgot how awesome he was.

The wins are scripted. At this point they aren't gonna let Taker lose til he retires.
You're suppose to go out on your back, but the WWE can't build new stars for shit since going PG and the time to a create one worthy of beating the streak is running out. Every fantasy booker has their own scenario, but it looks like he will retire with it intact just to keep the fans happy.
That's the Undertaker? Why does he looks so old!
Its even worse without the dye. I guess injuries (getting set on fire probably doesn't help) are catching up to him.

He's going to lose the last time he does it, and it's going to be against the right person so they can pass the torch. This could be it.

He did Monday, its the last video in my list. WWE is completely ignoring the feud biker Taker had with Brock 12 years ago. I'll have to re-watch the matches, but I'm sure there's an F5 in there too.

If Brock wasn't a part timer I would have no problem him reclaiming the throne he abandoned when he left for the Astroturf, but if there's any truth to the 1 more UFC match rumors he might leave again. WM 32 is in Texas,Undertaker's home state, so if Brock doesn't cripple him my guess is that being the last one.

they can build new stars. they have Daniel bryan. He is hugely popular but the WWE kept ignoring it until it really got to be huge. then they scrambled to put him in wrestlemania. Though they put him in match with HHH.

Also they had CM punk. again hugely popular but kept being put in shit matches and got fed up and left WWE.

The WWE is stuck in thinking that people want to see old stars such as HHH, batista, etc. Or they want huge muscle bound freaks who are out of breath in 5 min and after 5 moves.

when in reality most just want to see a good match. CM punk and Daniel bryan can do that.

edit: oh yeah. As for the topic of the thread hell no they will not let Undertaker lose. the streak is huge in the WWE. also no way in hell is he loseing to brock who is a part time. hell you rarely see him on tv.

if undertaker is going to lose it will be to someone like HHH or mr mcmahon.

You realize this is fake right?

This is my favorite responses from people who don't like wrestling. It's fake? No way!

Every movie is also fake, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I enjoy watching them.

I hope the Undertaker loses, because he is old and should retire already. He was crap during the attitude era and the Monday Night wars. Always disliked his character. They need to bring back Scott Hall! Best wrestle of all time!

A Vince screw job in the works? I haven't watched WWF in forever, but I vividly remember when Bret heart was suppose to beat HBK in Canada and Vince screwed him over. Sometimes the script doesn't go as scripted.

I think the only person who thought Bret Heart was supposed to win was Bret Heart. Perhaps, he was under the impression he had the star power of Hulk Hogan and could influence how his character won and lost. Hogan had it in his contract, he had final decision on the direction of his character, which is why he never had a clean loss after he became a star. He was leaving WWF for WCW, and wanted to retain his title and just leave it vacated? Of course, he should have passed it to Shawn Michaels in that match.

Unfortunately Scott Hall can no longer stand up, much less wrestle anymore. Saw a documentary about him, sad.

I heard, after DDP took him in, he is doing a lot better. He was (at the time, at least) finally sober and rehabilitated. It really sucks how his demons controlled him and really caused his decline. The WWE has actually taken great care of him, spending a lot of money for his multiple stints in rehab.

That's good to hear. The Razor's Edge was always one of my favorite finishers, and he played his character to the T. Glad to hear he is cleaned up, too. I saw that ESPN doc on him and you could tell it hadn't gone well for awhile.
