Will any retailers exchange a new, sealed game without a receipt?

I have a sealed copy of Battlefield Bad Company for the 360 sitting around and I don't have alot of desire to crack it open. Anyone know of a retailer that will exchange it for a different game? I don't have a receipt. My plan is to try Wal-Mart and see if they will and if not, then I'll trade it in at Gamestop and take a beating on it.

Unless someone can convince me that it's worth playing. I've heard the SP is short and I'm not all that interested in the MP.

Did you buy it at that store? Check their policy on returning games.

Stated policy of every retailer is no returns without a receipt, but that doesn't mean they won't. Got it at Sam's Club. Don't have the receipt and they don't carry it in the store anymore.

Walmart will, something like ~3 times a year, intended for people who actually bought the item there but I guess since you got it at Sam's club it doesn't make much difference ethically.

Yeah Walmart does it, 3 item limit/year. Although if you ask some people on this board, doing that is equivalent to murder.

just depends on whos working. Good luck though changing it to a different title even if it is unopened. Some ppl have access to one of those shrink wrapper machines. Like I said depends on whos working and how dumb/careless they are. This is is Wal-Mart though.

uhh no. They take the game, scan it, type in your DL #, and give you a giftcard with the current sale price + tax.

Except that the OP said that they don't carry that game anymore. So the current sale price is... zero

Sams Club != Walmart

I'm surprised Sams won't take it back. They can look it up in the system under your membership so you don't need a receipt. That is if you really bought it at Sams.

I didn't know they could do that. Very cool. I'll have to ask.
