should work fine. might have to put a new bios in there to support the dual cores, but I haven't seen an nVidia A64 mobo that doesn't support dualies (yes, NF3 150s are an exception, but there are no 754 dual cores, so :p )

Hope this isn't a gaming machine:confused:

The need for a server board with SLI graphics totally escapes me?

its a workstation, I'm guessing actually, and thats so you can run 4x monitors. Of course, you can do that just as well on dual 6600GTs, but meh.

About the only thing I'd change on that is get DDR3200 regestered ram...

SLI mode only supports 1 monitor, you have to run non-SLI for multi monitors. And I agree if multi monitors is the intent then 6600gts are more than enough

The price on 3200ram is crazy for what he will be doing. This will be a Photoshop machine.

The extra bandwidth is probably far more important than running 2x7800GTs, which isn't really needed for Photoshop work anyways.

And gituar daddy, you need some kind of board with 2x PCI-e 16x slots to run the 4x monitor set up, thats one of the options with the SLi mobos.
