Will a TNT2 Ultra work with an ASUS P5A-b now?

Reason I now have a PIII system is that I didnt want to wait for the patch to the BIOS to fix crashes with a TNT2 and the ALi chipset in my Asus P5ab. Does anyone know if this has been fixed and stable?

Theoretically, if you have the latest detonator drivers and the ALi chipest AGP driver version 1.65, you should be ok. But I dont think that applies to all ALi motherboards and TNT2 combinations - it was always explained as a hardware timing issue so I doubt there is little that drivers or a BIOS upgrade could do to fix this. Go to the ALi website and try to find out more information.
