I need to solder 2 wires together in my room but there is a fire detector like 10ft from my desk, would the soldering gun set the alarm off?

Also, is it safe to solder inside a small room with a fan going?

Probably not and yes it's safe to do a small amount of soldering in a small room if you have a window or fan. Not too much tho.

Make sure you keep inhaling deep. It'll make soldering more fun.

it can. It will create smoke, its depends how sensitive your Smoke detector is. If it goes off just stop. If you have a window just point the fan out to exhaust the smoke.
