Will a Server Window Fit The Antec Sx800/1030 Series??

im considering getting a window for my upcoming case and i have seen several shapes that i wonder if it will fit

I know that regular 12X9 and 12X16 windows will work but i have a question about the server windows

there are 14" wide, 18" and a half tall, minus 5" X 7" and a half in the upper left corner

heres a link click me will that fit without modding the handle?

here a smaller version but i dont like it that much here and here it is on a case here

BTW I also saw a pic where someone used the big server window and put the case lever up higher on the left side.

Will the lever still work if you move it somewhere else?

it should fit just fine. but you'll be cutting pretty much the entire door. like literally the entire door. i think that guy had to move the part of the Door opening and locking thing. but regardless. i'd get a smaller window. good luck.
 
You could also try this window which will pretty much make the entire side of the case a window except where the handle is..

I'm still unsure whether I want to use this window or the FrozenCPU window..
 
You could always cut whatever shape you want and then glue a piece of lexan on the back of the case side. That is what a friend of mine is doing. Home Depot has lexan. I think he paid like $11 for a 16x20. If you want the molding I am sure you could find that somewhere cheap too.
 
Home Depot carries Acrylic sheet, I just checked yesterday.

Clear - same or cheaper than smoke
Smoke - 24x48" - $13.98
30x60" - $19.98
Cheaper for smaller pieces, of course, but my local HD only carried smoke in those 2 sizes.

I just ordered 10ft of the locking strip from Umax, now I need to figure out the shape I want to cut out. I'm going back and forth between using 1 or 2 windows on the side and one on the top on my Chenming 601AE (Antec SX10x0)

yeah i saw that a VH after i posted this...it comes in clear and i want it to be blue but tahts $27 while the frozencpu is $19 and comes in blue
