Will A nero Bootable CD with just the I386 Folder be able to install Windows XP?

my friend brought me her XP Home Compaq computer to reformat, I took the I386 foler off her sysem and put it on mine and formated her hard drive, Now I'm going to make a bootable CD with just the I386 folder on it will this work if I run setup or Winnt off it to Install windows?

just the i386 folder won't work. however, i think you could use that folder with a tool called nlite to make a bootable xp disc.

nope thats not going to work you need the CD for it, I Just need a tiny file from the Home cd do you have it?
