Will a Mobile Celeron 1.6/1m/533 fit in a standard desktop mAtx mobo ?

Does anyone know if a mobile 478-pin Micro-FCPGA cpu will fit in a standard intel P4 mobo ?

The specefic chip I have is a 1.6\1M\533 Mobile Celeron and I'm wondering if it'll work in an Intel 865 based P4 mobo

I'm thinking if it won't work it's prob due to the chipset

Give it a try.....it will fit fine. See if your chipset supports it....many do.

You need a spacer (i used a piece of sheet copper) to have the HSF make contact since there is no Heat Spreader on the mobile chips.

If it's a Northwood core (1MB cache, nope it is not) then it would probably work. Don't know about others.
