Just curious if a mini-itx board able to be mounted in a ATX case? if not is there any way to overcome this?

thanks for replies, I was just wondering this cause I got a spare P180 lying around which I'd like to get a mITX board into it. Just wanting to see if it's all possible at all before I sink cash into this project.

you can print out a lifesize picture of a mini-itx board
EPIA ITX SCALE

once you print it out verify that the dimensions labeled on the side are correct, then place it in your case and you'll get an exact idea of how an ITX board will fit.
The dimensions/holes will match up to a llano, atom, or iseries mini-itx board

yes... i've done it for several cases, currently have one in an antec 300 case.. makes the case look to bare, like it's missing something
