My friend has an ancient PC with Intel 815 chipset based motherboard and P3 866 Mhz processor. He is finding the vidio choppy while running movies.
To improve performance is it possible to use my old Gforce4 MX 440 based AGP card in the AGP slot of his motherboard? The card has 64 MB DDR ram. Will the motherboard support DDR on graphics card?

Any answers?

the memory on the grahpics card is controlled by the graphics card, not the motherboard, so you have nothing to worry about.

The only issues he would have if he was trying to use an older 3.3v agp card with a newer AGP 3.0 motherboard but since it is an older 815 chipset he should be fine.
