Lol @ Akuma.
I just today dropped a Celeron 1 ghz in my old school MSI 6119 BX and it booted up displaying CPU SPEED: :02E
Now supposedly the board only supports up to a P3 850 and no, I do not have the infamous blue sticker on the winbond chip indicating the board is coppermine capable. But using an MSI 6905 it works like a charm. I cannot go below 1.8 volts but the 1 ghz requires 1.75 so I am good to go.
On a side note, for the guys saying to scrap the HP and buy everything new and improved, it isn't always that easy to just throw $$$ at the problem. My wife has a Sony EV-201 (266 Celeron cacheless) and I am looking at adding a Powerleap adapter to allow it to run a 566 Celeron I have at lower than the boards lowest voltage setting of 2.0. This keeps the rig going (it is rarely used) and keeps me from having to replace everything, so that saves me more $$$ for my rigs.
