I burned my orginal CD of 98SE, will the copy of it work, as long as I have my CD-Key? I don't think they copy-protect these discs?

I have copies of 95, 98, ME and 2000 and they all work fine off the back up copies.

My first thought was: Well, since you already burned it, why don't you try it and see? ;)

It works, if it didn't there'd be stuff around the copy protection out there.

Yep they work. I use burns only and bury my original in a box. Cost too much to risk getting a scratch on the original cd. Then again, since I upgrade every year anyway....

Use any copy protection detection program and you'll find that your OS disc is not copy protected at all.
