Why not just get one of hte taisol heatsinks. they're very quiet, and even though by socket A temp measurements it isn't readily apparent, they easily outperform C-orbs.

I have a superorb on a Duron on a Pro2A, fits snug. Clearance isn't the problem, I just had to bend the latch so it would go on. That's not a Pro2A specific thing, though, all these AMD-processors like their HS/F's on... ummm, "tight" (TIGHT)...:) So yes, the little orb will fit.

I also have a K7T Pro2-A with a Super Orb and it fits, so if that fits, the Chrome Orb should fit. Although I would not recommend the Chrome Orb since it does not cool as good as the Super Orb.

Thanks, guys

Got my Tbird in a retail box but the Fan didnt work (no name on it anywhere). I was told pretty good taisols came with the Tbirds but I guess I didnt luck out.

Told the Chrome was good to 1.2 G Tbirds by the vendor. Mine is a 1g and is Warrenteed for 1 year with the chrome. No overclocking for now.

Adequate???
