Will a BE6 run a 512Mb stick of Ram? "Updated"

Got a chance to get a 512Mb Stick of PC100 for my system,but i checked Abits page and it said up to 256Mb Stick would work in the BE6.

just kinda wanted to know if anyone has tried a 512Mb Stick Ram in this board.

Ram reads:
512MB ECC PC100
REGISTERED

Not sure if it is or not Bex.
waiting on the guy to get back to me.

Also,it is a stick of PC100,not PC133.

Ok got some more info from the guy.

Ram reads:
512MB ECC PC100
REGISTERED


Not sure if that helps.
but if it won't pick it up as 512Mb,would it maybe pick it up as 256Mb?
