Will a 9800GTX fit a thermaltake tsunami?

Was wondering if anyone here knows if a 9800GTX can into a Thermaltake Tsunami? I'm considering upgrading my video card and would like to know if the 9800GTX can fit into the Tsunami case without any modifications. If anyone has any information or input, any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Yeah it should, just don't throw a HD right in front of it. Well it would fit even with the HD but then cabling would be really tough

i have my HD at the highest in the removable tray, video card is just under it

I was judging by how my 8800GT fits, it still has at most an inch of leeway.... if its REALLY bad you could remove the hd tray and mount the hd in floppy area

I had a 8800GTX in one of these cases and to actually get it to fit i needed to remove the HDD tray and mount in the floppy area - it will fit there but not if you have a drive in the tray

Should be coming in by wednesday or thursday.

Don't really mind moving the HDD. Trying my best not to upgrade the whole PC. Gonna see if just upgrading the video card is enough for my gaming needs, if not, I'll upgrade everything including the case.

I appreciate the help though.

If the 9800GTX is indeed 10.5" and the 8800GTS is 9", you will need to either modify or remove the HD cage. My 8800GTS 640 barely fits my Tsunami - and requires that I don't put a HD in the bay right next to it. But if you just have one HD, no need for the cage.

Yeah, the Tsunami is basically the same chassis as the Antec SLC3000-B (been discontinued a long time), a very shallow design. It's a shame to have to pull the whole HDD rack to make room for a vid card...
