Will a 939 HSF work with AM2?

I currently have an Opteron 144 (939) with an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro HSF. I'm moving to an X2 3600+ AM2 setup and would like to use the same HSF. I know people are using ACF 64 Pro's on AM2 but do you need anything extra or will it work just the same as it did with Skt 939?
