Ok so i have already seen people crying there Far Cry wont run smooth on 9800 Pro, After the new Releases, will there be a significant Decrease in NV and RV Prices on the Higher End.

Some where < 300 $ for 98XT's or 5950's. And will there be any Mid end RV or NV which will beat thier respective 9800 Pros and 5900's in an affordable range.

Thank you

The 9800XT isn't all that much faster than a 9800Pro. The 9800 can also be overclocked to XT speeds anyway. (My 9800 is at 430 on core, 432 is max for XT IIRC).
It's be more worth looking at how the new cards run the game and how much they cost, the 9800Pro is a much better deal than 9800XT IMO.

Far Cry runs just fine on a 9800pro. You just have to set it up - can't just crank all the details to "very high" and run it at 1600x1200....

Do you guys really play games at 1600 x 1400, My NEC 17" does not support any thing over 1280 x ......, even some 19" dont support 1600x1400. How do you guys run your games at Max resolutions, or if you have some 300+ $ monitors ofcourse.

I have 1600x1200 @ 85 on my Dell P991 (19").

If you're spending $300 on a graphics card, then you should be spending top dollar on a decent monitor to use it with, especially when a monitor has a lot longer life span (over 4 years now, used with a TNT2, then GF4 then 9800).
Most people seem to play with lower res. and crank up the AA/AF though.

you could OC the 9800 pro to XT all you want but you still have 128mb. Farcry is one of the few games that takes advantage of a 256mb card

Or you could buy a 256MB 9800Pro and overclock that. Still cheaper than a 9800XT. Oh, and 256MB.

indeed that would be the best compromise

I play at 2048x1536 whenever I can, $300+ for a monitor....~$700. It's the component you are most likely to keep for numerous years, and it is the one that effects every interaction with your computer, spend a bit of money.
