Will 800 mhz ram work with 1066mhz ram?

Also, does anyone want to buy 1 or 2 sticks of OCZ Platinum 1GB 1066 MHZ 240 Pin DDR2 SDRAM? Each stick works fine, it's just that my MOBO won't read them both at the same time and I want more than 1 gig of ram.
 
Also wanted to add that only 1 stick has been used for than about 5 minutes, and it's only been in my comp for less than 2 days.

Sorry for the no reply, I haven't had much time to use my computer lately, I did try overclocking the memory to 2.2v, even tried up to 2.5v, and although it did make the MoBo respond to the changes by thinking a little longer on the memory stages of start up, it still wouldn't recognize both sticks of ram.
