Corsair has a new line of DDR5 RAM that includes 24GB and 48GB modules
This opens up the possibility of 2x48GB (96GB total) and 4x48GB (192GB) memory configurations.
However, a lot of motherboards and CPU's list 128GB as their max supported memory, or 64GB for two-slot mITX motherboards and 128GB for four-slot motherboards (32GB per slot).
Seems like this stuff is too new to find completed builds, so I am wondering what the compatibility really looks like with these modules? Especially when it comes to systems with e.g. Ryzen 7950X which have lots of CPU cores to match with the higher memory capacity, really interested to know what kind of system builds are possible now. Anyone have any info?
