What? Why? How? Some fucking contrived reality show? Who hijacked your account, zin? :p

hehe, yes. I hate them, mostly.

But, Amazing Race isn't that bad. It actually manages to be somewhat educational and in the off chance that *gasp* some bumfuck American gets an inkling to travel and actually learn about another culture from watching that show, then all the better.

But if this turns out to be Survivor meets Amazing Race, then fuck no.

I dont see how it will work.

The original was funny because the dog was a typical Aussie bogan. He swore heaps and smoked bongs.

I'm guessing he wont be able to say fuck or wise and beautiful woman on FX. Or smoke weed.

smoke weed? absolutely. fuck and wise and beautiful woman...not so much.

Looks better than "Whitney" with Whitney Cummings.
She's unfunny most of the time and looks like an 80 year old with really good plastic surgery.

I thought it was fairly decent. I'll continue to watch it. it's not like there's anything else to watch right now.

It's not on On Demand, either. oh well. :(

Did anyone see the original Wilfred, the Australian version with Aussie actors? I forget what channel, probably IFC. I am assuming the Wilfred concept started there at least, does Wilfred on FX have an Aussie accent?

I thought the Aussie version was pretty good, hilarious at times even. But I like dark humor, so yea. Just setup a few episodes on FX to record, thanks.

I started out thinking I'd agree with Boomer, but the raunched out nihilism has won me over.

Example: "Oh, come on, that's not your real girlfriend, it's just a semen drenched stuffed bear." <--------- Paraphrase despite the quotes.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I was pissed when I heard they were remaking it but it's really grown on me.

It's nothing like the Australian version, but I think that's good. It's taken the idea of a anthropmorphic dog, and then gone it's own way. Rather than try and copy the original, which wouldn't have worked.

Most of the episodes so far have been pretty good. Not amazing. It's one of those shows that's funny enough to people who have a decent sense of humor but the mainstream viewers will find it too "weird," so it will end up getting cancelled. It does have some good casting too.

Frodo seems like a good d00d and I'm glad they are giving a hobbit work outside of lord of the rings.

It's getting good ratings and it's already been renewed for a second season.
