Do you have director or higher level staff redirecting management's wants?

I have been on teams that really pushed back on things that made no sense.

That 30 WAP install for 150 cubes is a bit nuts.

everything here is a bit nuts. the data center is put together well, the backup plan is comprehensive, and 90% of the buildings have very good wifi...everything else is fucking stupid.

again, im an intern and ive only been here a few months, im not sure how things work at the upper levels. my supervisor is an SA I, and my boss is an SA III who seems to be handling 3 or 4 projects concurrently. neither of them can get anything better or different done, and dont seem interested in trying.

i *guess* theyd get shot down and dont see a reason to rock the boat to get nothing for it. ive been really disappointed in the place. i went from a small CC with one network admin to a large hospital, thinking the hospital would have its shit together and id get to see some really cool stuff and learn a lot.

didnt turn out at all like i expected. this place is so much like office space that its maddening sometimes.
