Do you deny that these people regularly converse with journalists? Do you deny that these people give journalists information that they believe will lead to favorable stories? Do you deny that they try to influence the content of stories before they are published? What?

You are either willfully ignorant or just blinded by your party affiliation. Of course everyone tries to influence coverage and control narrative and so forth, but only one side has been shown to have the full cooperation of the media in doing so. These emails don't just show the DNC trying to manipulate coverage, they show the media willingly cooperating. Politico has already started apologizing, we'll see how the others react to being outed as accomplices.

It is interesting to see you furiously attempt to argue that Repiblican politicians are incompetent.
I'm not arguing any such thing. Of course they try to frame the conversation, but they only have one potential willing partner to do so. The rest of the media all dance to the tune of the DNC. Any doubt about that has been laid to rest.

Again, Valerie Plame pretty obviously shows that you're wrong. Let me guess though, that was special or a one time thing.

Oh so the Republicans always try but they fail. That's even more incompetent because now they are just wasting money. So your argument is basically that if the RNC email server were hacked tomorrow we would see them trying the same things but always failing? Lol. You aren't actually that naive are you?

No, it doesn't... but don't let that stop you from trying to use the false equivalence to deflect though ;)

The repubs try to frame the conversation just like the dems do, but one of them has the entire media full of allies and people who seek to help them, the other does not. Many of these emails show a close cooperation between the media outlets and HRC/DNC etc.

Heck, the damage control continues even today. Facebook has acknowledged blocking links to the email dump (they say it was an error.....suuuuuuuure it was), google now flags wikileaks as a dangerous site (of course that's just coincidental) and on and on. Funny to see the full scale damage control efforts going on. They must think there's some pretty ugly stuff in the information dumped.

By all means explain how a Republican operative working with media figures to publish favorable information is false equivalence. Spell it out for us!

Right, so again your argument is that the Republicans try but always fail and that you believe if the RNC servers were hacked that is what you see.

That is some ridiculous motivated reasoning there.

Didn't some Fox News chuckle head accidentally read the RNC talking points on the air not too long ago?

Dunno about the rest, but wikileaks was tagged as dangerous when Google detected them serving malware. Wikileaks apparently corrected that & is no longer tagged that way.

But, conspiracy theory anyway, right?

Yah, if by "malware" you mean "information not in line with the DNC / hildebeast talking points".

Politico, CBS, CNN, Reuters all claim to be unbiased but were exposed as frauds who are colluding with the left. I love it. Wikileaks > *

She is too loyal for her own good, I agree with that, even though it's an honorary title, so technically she wasn't even hired.

She doesn't deserve to be hired... that shit-stain deserves to be blacklisted.

Holy smokes this is getting interesting.

The usual idiots will try to attack the messenger and pretend this is all just another GOP conspiracy, but the fact is the gop has nothing to do with this. These are emails straight from the horse's (or rather, donkey's?) mouth.

Of course you're also going to see the predictable "nothing unusual here, this kind of corruption and cooked behavior is perfectly normal!" type stuff to pretend this isn't a big deal. Truly pathetic.

Supposedly there's even more stuff to be released, but based on the emails already released, a couple of points:

Bernie was screwed by the corrupt DNC and HRC campaign. The actively colluded and smeared to take down his campaign. Hopefully the Bernie supporters remember how the party treated them come November when the same crooked party tries to get them to vote for crooked hildabeast.

Anyone who pretends the media in general isn't completely in the DNC/democrat hands and pocket and working actively to support the dems is willfully stupid and ignorant. Do you suppose Trump or the RNC get to call Reuters and have them push stories at their direction? CBS? CNN? Politico? The general media that idiot lefties continue to tell us is really not biased is taking direction from DNC on stories, narratives, talking points, questions to ask to attack GOP candidates etc etc. But nope, it's all just your imagination conservatives :D

We can finally conclusively put the myth of the unbiased main stream media to rest now. Thanks wikileaks!

People tend to forget that Sander isn't a democrat per se, and some even feign surprise that a political party would treat their own better than a populist outsider.

the problem is that "Do Anything for Hillary" WS has stated before that the DNC was neutral

So unless "based on our rules" part means "neutral unless you're not officially registered as a democratic party member".... she was fucking lying

I don't think anyone should be particular surprised that people sometimes lie in the realm of politics.

I wrote some analysis of this here: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?p=38369383#post38369383

Not surprised... disappointed and rather pissed off.

Now we are virtually certain that her at the time seeming moronic (because it lessened public exposure to them) scheduling of democratic debates was for political reasons. Unfortunately the democratic party would be doing better, imho, if more people saw those debates early on.

Fuck her.

Of course, despite Pokerguy's protests otherwise they aren't stupid at all. I'm absolutely positive they have had people poring over these emails to look for bad ones that they will then feed to the media, etc, in order to try and get coverage.

Oh wait I mean they are sitting at home on their hands watching X-Files reruns hoping everything works out okay because we know the Republicans don't try to manipulate the media.

"more to come" but yea, keep talking about the 'stupid party'...

Don't even pretend the left doesn't own the media, and now the major social media platforms as well. "try"?, you DO.

I guess Democrats don't think of people in terms of blacklists and name calling. But there is the Republican party for people like you.

Lmao, CNN's top story today is "Did Russia Hack Democrats?" What a joke.

It's an interesting question, considering Trump's position on NATO, and his campaign manager also being on campaigns of other Putin puppets.
