Wii Wired nunchuck question

I had an idea about using a Wii Wired Nunchuck as a mouse. Obviously, it would take a custom controller to interface between the nunchuck and a USB transceiver.

I am mainly curious if there is any documentation for the signal interface of the nunchuck. Anyone know?

outside of off topic, I think everything should be open for discussion, even something like this ....now if someone had personal experience with doing this, they could post the write up they used.

and technically, wouldn't this be a joystick? just free floating?
