Wii Wired nunchuck question

I had an idea about using a Wii Wired Nunchuck as a mouse. Obviously, it would take a custom controller to interface between the nunchuck and a USB transceiver.

I am mainly curious if there is any documentation for the signal interface of the nunchuck. Anyone know?

outside of off topic, I think everything should be open for discussion, even something like this 🙂....now if someone had personal experience with doing this, they could post the write up they used.

and technically, wouldn't this be a joystick? just free floating?
