Wii web browser?

You have to download it off the virtual console, and I don't think it's free anymore? I know my brother downloaded it free but at the time it was a beta or something like that.

Some of the other Wii experts here could tell you for sure 😛

It was initially free but now it cost a couple bucks. It's not a bad browser but nothing I use regularly. I usually only use it when I'm watching a DVD or nbc.com on my laptop.

too bad theres no way to earn points online by getting certain scores or something. Its kinda stupid that Nintendo would charge 1000 points for a N64 game. I mean that translates to $10 USD. Whose gonna pay that much for a virtual copy of a N64 game?

The same people spending $1 for a song, $2.50 for a ringtone, and $5+ for stuff on xboxlive.

I bought Paper Mario and Mario Kart 64 😱

In my defense I never owned a Nintendo 64.

That's one of the reasons why I emulate games and pirate music. I'm sorry, I'm not going to pay $10 for a slightly enhanced (if that) copy of Mario Kart 64. If it was part of a collection with four other N64 games for about $30 maybe, but not $10 by itself. And I'm not going to pay $1 for a song. I might aswell stay on CDs.

yeah i rem not paying anything for the browser, not sure if it costs now but if it does, thats pretty ridiculous. If it was in full HD, then maybe, but web browsing on the wii costs you?? come on.... Opera on the PC is free...
