Wii vs. PS3... decide for me

So yeah, i've been out of the loop on these console wars for a while. My PS2 doesn't work anymore so i figure i'll pick up a new one. Which should i go with?

Wii will definitely have a decent launch of titles though, so it depends on if you want instant gratificaiton.

Easy, if you can get your hands on one buy a PS3, then ebay it before christmas for double the price, then use the money to buy whatever is determined best after they have been out for a while, and the extra money can be paypal'ed to me, YGPM.

Also the fact the Wii doesn't have HD support is a little disheartening. Yes gameplay is everything, but that doesn't mean I go back to playing Delta Force 1 when i could play JO instead.

Just watch the various hands on videos of game reviews of Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz or boxing in Wii Sports. Now find any game on the PS3 that is anywhere close to as fun looking.

personaly, i'm not going to hop on the wii bandwagon until i try out the controller and wait to see how the console progresses. The ps3 has a lot of things that I want so I know what i'm getting.

And after watching some game stop stuff yesterday on the ps3 and other crap in occured to me that Wii was the perfect name.
Every time Sony, Microsoft, or who ever said "WE" the Wii came to mind. Freaking brilliant marketing IMO and that name will be mentioned all the time when their competitors say how "we were the first to do.... or We brought this to the..... or We are going to bring......". All I know was watching the guys being interviewed and every time they said "we" again that stupid Wii box popped in my head

The Wii will probably be a huge failure.

The Xbox 360 has already proved to me that it IS a huge failure.

PS3 looks promising if only everyone didn't complain about the price(even though the price justifies what you get), the people who are bashing the PS3 are the equivalent to those who bash SUVs.
