so how do i get the wii to see my keyboard? i updated the firmware and plugged it up and turned it on/off

i can't see an option to make it use the keyboard

anyone know?

think it automaticly adds it as a device, no need to turn it on on the wii or anything

It will work in the Internet Channel and you can also use it to enter in friends codes. Why didn't they include this feature in the first place. How many wasted hours did all of us spend entering in FCs with the Wiimote.

Well it not only requires the latest Wii firmware, but you actually need to go into the shop channel and download updates to the internet channel (and the vote channel if you actually mess with that) in the wiiware section

^Correct. Then when you start the Internet Channel you should see you're keyb num lock indicator light up when it starts up.
