When I turn on my Wii I get this message;

Error Occurred. Press the eject button and remove the disc. Turn the power off and follopw instructions in the console manual.

Is my Wii broken?

I did what the booklet says and still get the error

A Wii breaking? Lies!

You should give Nintendo a call, they have excellent customer service unlike another system.

No, it isnt broken. Mine has done that twice in the two months of owning it. I just turn it off, turn it back on, and everything is fine.

Mine did it though cause I had dirt on the game and didnt know it.

You could also try unplugging the power cord from the back for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in. Try it that way. Thats what I did to mine the second time I had that error.

Is it still doing it ? Because if it is, that is a rarity..

When you try to turn it back on, is there a game inserted ? If so, that is probably what is causing it. Cant' have a game in while booting. But if no game is in it, and its doing it, im clueless.

Just call Nintendo, I hear they're good about this stuff.

I had this problem once or twice but after taking out the gmae and restarting it worked fine.
