Wii sports bowling skill level?

Does anyone know the formula that determines how your skill level changes after a game of Wii bowling?

At first I thought it was based on your average but that doesn't seem to be correct.

This is really silly I know but I just like to know how things work.

Just as an example I created a new mii and bowled 3 quick games to see what happened to the score

Game1 - 170 - Skill 190
Game2 - 111 - Skill 300
Game3 - 144 - Skill 423

Any ideas?

I'm guessing it works off of an ELO type rating system, where new ranking = old ranking + K * (Latest Score - Expected Score)

How the Expected Score is calculated is anyone's guess.

Not only that, I'm pretty sure it's entirely wrong. From my observations I would say sciencewhiz's post is entirely correct.
