Can any sandisk 2gig memory card be used for nintendo wii. I heard something about high speed cards not working and that the memory card has to be low speed or something like that. I was about to buy a nintendo brand memory card for 40 bucks but i already have a sandisk one just wanted to make sure it will work

I highly doubt your Wii is going to explode if you put a memory card that doesn't work into it. Worst case scenario: it doesn't read the memory card.

You already have the card, why not just test it?

i also have a new wii that i dont want to break and have to wait 5 months to get a new one also i thought someone would just answer the question but it just seems everyone either wants to give a smart ass answer or just post something useless to increase there post count.

hold up a second ...

so you have a wii, and you have the memory card, and you aren't just trying this out yourself and seeing what happens?

I think the only logical thing for cpmer to do is to send his nice shiny 2GB HIGH-SPEED SD card to ME so I can test it on my Wii.*

*Testing may take between 6-8 years and return shipping will be $15
