*** WII Defective Remote Strap*****

As a 34 year old mother of 4 .. Whos 14 year old waited in line 14 hours to purchase a Wii.
I felt the need to let people know the danger of the Wii Remote wrist strap breaking, My 7 year old daughter was playing Wii Sports Bowling being supervised... she was playing in a non-aggressive manner, Sent the remote flying across the room resulting in a broken TV Screen.
I just wanted people to be aware of the failing wrist strap.. If the force of a small 7 year old can break the wrist strap then I'm sure this wont be the first.

You seem to have a hard time finding the appropriate Wii thread; please take a couple of days off in order to release the pressure of finding it quickly.

You remember when the original Xbox was released? There were countless stories about them falling off of shelves and killing people. There haven't been any stories of the PS3 yet because nobody has them, three people tried to get one and were shot!

The reason we haven't heard of stories about the PS3 is because the users were sent to the 4th Dimension and are thus unable to report their problems.

So because a 7 y/o actually let go of the remote which resulted in the strap tearing and breaking their TV, they're saying the Wii is defective?

Sounds like defective logic to me.

😀

I don't plan on throwing my wii remote, so I think I'll be alright.

But why the hell should I care that she's 34 year old who is contributing to overpopulation? 😕

Translation:

I was out scoring with another random guy while my 4 spawns from the depths of hell were playing "Throw the wiimote at the cat" when they missed the cat (unfortunately) and hit the TV. I then got out some dull scissors and frayed the cord to make it look like an accident.

I want $1 million for the mental trauma.

BREAKING NEWS - kid actually broke 2 things at teh same time!!! OMGZOR 😕

Will there still be a film at 11?

Only if the camera-man escapes the house with the camera intact. He's using the wrist-strap though so fingers crossed there aren't any big TV's in the way.
