Wiimotes, nunchuks and classic controllers are also impossible.

wiimotes and nunchuck and CC ARE now in stock around here, two walmarts had multiples in the middle of the week

I have 4 Wiimotes, 2 nunchuks and 2 classics so I don't need anymore but I still check out of curiosity anytime I'm at a place that sells them. I saw 3 Wiimotes at a Target last week but that's all I've seen for months. A guy bought two of them while I was there and he was in disbelief.

i decided i wanted a Wii on Jan 1st, 07 after playing someone elses... Jan 5th I bought one, by Jan 7th, I had 4 Wii-motes, 2 nun-chucks, Zelda, Madden, Mario Kart (With two wireless wavebird controllers), and everything else that I wanted. you guys are def not trying hard enough. Last week I went to Sam's Club they had 42 units (Pleasantville, NJ) so I bought one for my brother.

As mentione by RGN, none to be found in northern IL.

I got lucky and ordered one late last week at circuitcity.com. It was a bundle with an extra wiimote, sd card and zelda (was able to drop red steel and the nunchuck from the list). I'll trade Zelda in at Gamestop since I know I will never play it and get TW. Slight loss on that, but everything else I would have purchased at one point or another (maybe not the sd card, but I can always use that in my camera).

there are none at sams, best buy, circuit city, EB games, game stop...

they said early april they'll be sending out more shipments (all of these stores have told me that)

the 3 walmarts local to me are out, the best buy local to me is still out, and as soon as they get them in they are sold. I was in one walmart on time when they got 3 in, but was broke when I was there, needless to say within a hour they were all gone.

My girlfriend works at walmart and said that someone came through and bought a Wii this morning. My brother had been looking for one.

He went and they had 2 displayed and 4 more in the back.

GO Wii!

I had one 2 days after I decided I wanted one. Was just shopping at Target around 3PM on a Sunday and they had a few sitting out. They're not very difficult to find around here.

I'm waiting for Super Paper Mario to be released so I actually have something to play. Wii Sports only lasts for so long, Zelda was alright, and all of the other games I've seen don't do much for me.

out of curiosity, why'd you get the Wii then? Just to head off lack of availability?

Looked like fun and everyone was in love with it around here. This was probably 3 months ago before I expected there to be more worthwhile titles. By now there should be something, but there have been no good, exclusive games released recently.

Why Nintendo so slow 🙁

Actually I think I read they're producing the Wii faster than any other console in history. The demand is just really high. They've sold over 6 million and it's been around for about 4 months.

I'll believe that 6 million when I see some Nintendo official numbers... vgcharts or whatever doesn't count.

no love for sonic or ssx blur? Altho, Sonic I think is more of a trade in game to get.

I have been trying to get a Wii in Orlando since the first of April, OOS everywhere :-(

Best Buy near me had several Wii consoles but no PS3s a few weeks ago. I call it Bizarro Buy. I wasn't shopping for either.

I got one for the kiddies for XMas back at launch, stood in line for about 3 hours in the cold, not horrible I guess compared to some other experiences I've heard about.

Target up the street from my work, (Colorado and Leetsdale in Denver, CO) usually gets around 15-20 every Tuesday, usually if I'm there before 11am, I'll see a few sitting behind the glass, but they seem to go really fast, so if you're in the area, you might want to check there on Tuesday mornings.

I was just at Target yesterday to pick up Super Paper Mario and a Nunchuck. Only came home with SPM. Didn't see any Wiis there either.
