since no one reads the networking thread i will post here!!!! okay i am thinking about getting the Nikon coolpix p2 wifi...but i will be using it at college which doesn't have a wireless network...is there and sort of usb device that would pick up the wifi either 802.11b or 802.11g signal?????????
 
I'm fairly sure that most WiFi compatible peripherals require a router to connect to. My Canon wireless printer needs one but I'm not familiar with the Nikon. Is it possible to connect a wirelss router to your college network?

You will need to get a wireless signal somewhere, whether its from a router hooked up to the campus network or a usb dongle hooked up to a pc hooked up to the campus network.
