wifi security

Hello all.. I am looking to increase my home network security while still maintaining wifi access. I am not very well versed in networking at all so I thought you guys would be the best to ask. Essentially what I am looking to do is route all of my wifi traffic through a firewall (hardware/software combo) so to block anyone from lan and wan access even if they are able to crack my WPA2 ssid. So what would be the best hardware configuration to accomplish this?

If you use WPA2 with a secure password and someone still manages to break in, a firewall isn't going to do much more to stop them. Anyone with the ability to crack a strong WPA2 password has the ability to hack most consumer level firewalls.

I have to agree with Fardringle on this. If somebody is trying to crack your WPA2 and succeeds they won't be stopped by consumer grade solutions.

There are a few websites that help establish strong random character passwords if you need help establishing a very strong password.
