wifi or bluetooth printer

I just purchased the MX5000 combo which is Bluetooth. I am also in the market for a decent printer. I have heard arguments that WiFi is better and to just go with that, but where my computer is located, I dont have the strongest of signals. Its an older house... Is there a printer out there that offers both WiFi and Bluetooth? Or, am I going to get stuck picking and choosing one signal?

Its kind of importaint to have both cause it would make printing pictures off my Nikon P2 so much easier, and at the sametime not have to worry about a weak or dropped signal during a print from my computer.

I have the HP 3310...it's very expensive, but it has alot of features, including WiFi. If BT is important to you, HP has a USB BT adapter you can use on many of their printers.

The main difference between BT and Wi-Fi is transmission range. BT is intended to replace cables at short range. Wi-Fi range can be 10X greater. You can have both by using a BT adapter.

I currently use the HP 6980 printer which has built in Wi-Fi as well as Cat5/6 Ethernet connection.

more devices are compatible with wi-fi, both as of now are fairly expensive.

pick whatever you feel more comfy with. don't forget that you can always use additional access pointz to stretch wifi
