Question Wifi AP recommendations

Verizon Fios Gigabit service. Verizon router in basement connected to ethernet LAN (cat5). Want to create a mesh-like network throughout house with highest speeds possible with several access points connected to LAN. Avoiding mesh packages (want to keep Verizon router and tv service). Hardware recommendations? How to configure for seamless handoffs from AP to AP?

I use a NWA210AX and it covers 1300sq ft corner to corner without issue. They run about $150 and are stable. Pairs with an ax210 client it gets 1.2gbps and with an ax411 I hot 1.5gbps.

For seemles handoff you need to analyze the signal with an app wifi analyzer and tweak them until you have minimal overlap.

Mesh is just a marketing thing for those that don't setup things correctly on opposing channels to facilitate a handoff. Mesh pods vs an AP are apples and oranges. Mesh systems halve the bandwidth with wireless backhaul and don't perform well. There's a market for it and profit to be made.

Mesh was more of a thing with 2.4 networks when you set them up with 1/6/11. APs using 6ghz coordinate between each other if you leave them in auto mode. You can also make one a root AP and additional APs clients to the root.
