WiFi AP causing my T60 to BSOD?

I just started using my T60 lately to put SSD in it. When I was recording some startup vids before the SSD install i found it to be bluescreening upon connecting to my wifi (IRQ error for atheros).

I've NEVER had this problem before with this machine.

Now me using it just now, is sort of the first time i've started using it since i installed a new TP-Link TL-WA901N/ND v2. That thing is a POS that locked up all the time so now I am running OpenWRT on it to try and salvage it.

It got to the point though were it would BSOD every time it tried to connect to it. It's even doing it after i installed the SSD with brand new 7 install.

One thing I did though was fire up my Nexus One's hotspot to see if it would connect to it, and it worked just fine every time with the N1. In fact connecting to the N1 would allow me to connect to that TPLink, but eventually it would start BSODing again.

I now have that T60 here at work where I have a 802.11n Rosewill and some older 'g' TP-Link. So far I have turned it on, shut it down, turned it on, cycled the wifi switch many times and the T60 has connected flawlessly.

SO I guess that POS TP-Link is to blame at home after all? I am SO ready to punt that thing into the nearest landfill! I have a Rosewill 802.11n (3 antenna) router I bought to replace the TPLink with, that is going to be my next step since the T60 is working flawlessly here at work.
