I use the heck out of my Snapon 18V impact it gets alot of attention when it takes 1 1/16th lug nuts off a tandem axle/wheel gooseneck trailer...😀 Have 5 batteries for it and 2 chargers so I can use it all day and never run out of juice...:thumbsup:

Hal9000... Just a bit of info GTO or Goat was used in a slang term of Gas, Tires & Oil from the 60`s back when Pontiac was a major player in the US auto industry sad where its at now...:'(

BTW the impact works great on one of these (the WA600-6 in the background)

I always get a kick out of the old dudes saying these arent a "real" GTO. Ok then...the new ones are faster in a straight line, faster in the corners and much more comfortable inside. I say thank god they arent like the old ones.

na.... the GTO's and the bigger motor G8's aren't bad cars. Don't let this get out, but I would probably drive one 🙂

just that 98.763% of what GM puts out is garbage.... even a crappy manufacturer like GM can put out a decent product now and again

APS twin turbo conversion. two GT28RS based turbos @ ~15 psi on 92 octane. made right about 550 and a little over 570 tq. this is on a 9:1 CR motor with a mild cam...

and

I have a 06 evo MR converted back to 5 spd (shep trans) with an FP red @ 33 psi on E85 making in the 530's

but hey, they're japanese, so they are rice

Like I said, the GTO is a decent car. I was just talking sh!t about GM and everyone wants to rag on me about it? I know there are cars out there better and faster than mine, but to call my cars rice like phoking and bart did is pretty darn naive/ignorant

Hey everyone has thier own tastes. Im not a huge fan of the Z--but making that kind of power is very cool. The Evo Ive always kind of liked though.

My GTO is only making around 410 rwhp with baically just a small cam and exhaust. Everything else is stock. I may be going with a single stage nitrous setup on it for next year though. Nothing crazy--just a 100 shot.

for a rwd street car 400 is the sweet spot imo. My Z was just as much fun a 400 as it is at 500+. You are looking at diminishing returns from the extra HP. Looking back at my adventures, I would have probably never done the motor and just ran less boost on the stock setup and kept a few bucks in my pocket.... though a single stage nitrous setup is likely a lot less than doing a full motor build

It is cool you can squeeze some decent power out of your car with relatively simple bolt ons
 
I really wish the positives of the GTO and Camaro could be combined. The visibility and interior were great and so was the fit and finish.
