To add to that, you both sound pretty immature, which isn't suprising at your age. I'm not that much older, but I know I was not prepared for marriage at the age of 21 and have matured leaps and bounds in the last several years. It created a lot of struggles, and it's a wonder that we're still together. We managed to go to some counseling that basically showed us that we were both acting childish and needed to focus on the health of our marriage rather than on asserting that I (or she) am always right and must always get my (or her) way.

We also had to step back on our "regulations" for each other. For example, stating, "Wife won't let me play games," is a lie as evidenced by you still playing games. If you told her that you won't let her watch TV, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't fly. It's childish to make those (or really any) requirements of your spouse. It's more important to state your intentions rather than your demands involving the immediate situation. Like I stated before, your wife probably just doesn't want you to waste so much time doing any hobby. Instead of stating that, she said you can't play games any more, which is both a lie and childish. If she told you how important it was to her that you had more time to spend with her or that she was disappointed that you haven't taken out the trash in a month or something like that, then that would (hopefully) entice you to back off on your gaming time. Making demands only produces strife in the marriage and will drive the other person to rebel, resent, or both.

This has so turned into an L&R topic.
 
From the sound of it there's shit he should be doing instead of playing this game. She's probably picking up the slack and resenting him for it. Not cool dude. Take care of your responsibilities first. Then play games when you have free time.
 
It doesn't have to be that way!

Involve your wife more w/ your gaming selection.

Get a couple games for yourself, but get about 3-4 she'll play.

My wife and I constantly play Mario Kart on the Wii, Left 4 Dead, and Guitar Hero (she can download her wise and beautiful woman-ree songs). I stick to metal.

If you're mature enough, getting married at 23 is fine. My parents were 23 or so when they got married, and are still married several decades later. My wife and I were 23 when we got married too, and we're fine.

The OP does not sound anywhere near mature enough though.
