Which one is best for reading outside, she has prime and supposedly there is a lot free kindle content for prime users. Which one would you recommend and what's a good waterproof case for it. Also what tablets come with free 3g/4g internet, she only needs 50mb per month.

Thanks

The best outside ones are the e-ink bases ones. Is she looking for an e-reader or a tablet? If she doesn a lot of reading outside it might be worth getting both. I kept my e-ink one once I got a tablet since its cheap enough not to worry a ton about.

You can't beat the Paperwhite for good value in that environment.

I think all of your questions could be answered by Amazon's kindle website :)

How much do you want to spend?

I'd recommend a Paperwhite with "Whispersync"

Like others, I recommend an e-ink reader. I currently own a Kindle 4 (2012 model), a Voyage, and had a Paperwhite 2 which I gave my wife. All are excellent devices but definitely go with a Paperwhite at a minimum.

The Voyage is the top end model, I have one and I really like it, but it's a little hard to justify the price. The paperwhite is still very good, and much cheaper, so likely a better choice.
