If he's happy, then it's good for him. But I heard that they have a prenup, and in that, Bill stated that every year, his wife must let him go on vacation BY HIMSELF for a week or so. There's rumor that Bill spends that week with another women who is his ex-gf but he didn't marry for some reasons :Q

The whole thing doesn't seem normal to me, that's all.
There is a saying "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", maybe his wife is the hottest one for him.


I'm sure he could show you a pic of his wife *WOULD BE* if he were the richest man in the world.

Just to add some more to this thread:

To me, a girlfriend and a wife are completely different matters. While I care so much about looks, etc right now since I'm a college sophomore, I wouldn't do the same when I'm looking for a wife.

If I ever marry, I need to marry someone who will not discourage me from following my passion. I need a woman who doesn't b!tch at me every time I buy a computer part or spend quite a few weekends finishing off software projects. She must be very understanding and love me for who I am. Such women are tough to come by, from what I see around in this world. "Hot" women with such qualities makes the matter even more difficult.

But if I'm just looking for a girlfriend, it doesn't matter. We'd just go on dates to have fun. Since it's not like I'll see her everyday, it doesn't matter if she nags me about me being too geeky or spending too much money on computer stuff. I can't imagine marrying some hot chick who would take much of my hot earned money and b!tch at me for spending too much on new computers because she has to spend 5 grand a month on new clothes.

Any ways, I think that Bill Gates had a good reason behind marrying her. Maybe she is very intelligent and he really enjoys spending time with her. And it is quite likely that she looked much better when she was younger. Didn't she have like 3 kids already?

There is nothing "adult" about respecting opinions regardless of their content. I respect opinions that are well-thought out, well-presented, entertaining, etc. Your attitude - of judging an individual solely based on physical appearance - gave no semblance of the opinion-holder having, at the least, a modicum of intelligence.

If you want to judge people solely based on their physical appearance, that's fine. Just don't expect me to respect you for doing so; or, better yet, post your pic and let all of us judge you solely based on it. Our opinions of you based solely on your appearance can't be worse than they are based solely on your posts.
