My dad has an antique phone with no keyboard lock. I frequently get calls (and subsequent 10 minute voicemails).

I really need to get him a new phone.

I used to get those from a friend all the time as well. I loathe when someone does that and the line won't disconnect. You can hang the phone up for 10 minutes and the call will still stay completed.
 
I've had this happen. My g/f and I were getting it on when suddenly I hear a knock on teh door. It was my mom. I quickly put my pants back on opened the door and she asked why my phone had dialed home and she asked if my g/f was alright b/c she could hear her moaning in teh backround.... I know my mom is not dumb, but i hope she never realized what was really going on.

Flip phones for now on.
