my wife uses 3 12's she fills up the first one, and puts it in the oven, then fills the 2nd one, by the time she starts on the 3rd, the first is ready, so she swaps and finishes filling the 3rd, and takes the muffins out of the 1st. by that time the 2nd is done, and you get the idea after that.

chocolate chip mini-muffins are hard to beat for a snack muffin.
